Another way of getting some traffic is through blog review. Get your blog reviewed by someone (with higher PageRank) can help improve your blog traffic and also to gain potential readers. IMHO, it has higher chances of gaining readership than using EntreCard.

Early this year a lot of bloggers were discussing and trying BlogRush, a network that might draw traffic to your blog. BFN (Blogging For Novice) has added the BlogRush widget at the right sidebar. Base on the statistic, not all posts from BFN attracts readers. To bring BFN’s traffic to another level, I have decided to add the EntreCard widget here.
EntreCard is really a great tool to generate traffic and also a chance to gain potential readers. Other than that, through the EntreCard network, you can find out more blogs that share the same interest. I have found several nice blogs via the EntreCard network.
What is an Entrecard?
Entrecard is your business card 2.0. It’s a 125×125 image which represents you and your blog. Its part advertisement, part business card. It comes with a widget you place on your blog, so that others can leave their Entrecard for you. You can also use Entrecard to promote your blog and launch free advertising campaigns. What’s the hot topic in the Internet recently? Yea, no doubt a lot of people, especially tech bloggers, are talking about Google Chrome. What is Google Chrome? It’s a browser by Google! That’s really a buzz, isn’t it? I have not yet fully tested this new browser, but what I found impressive is the simple and clean interface. It supports tab browsing, and several features which you can learn more about it here.
Guess what? Some kind souls out there have made such simple and clean interface into a blog theme which you can use for your blogs! If you are a fan of 2 columns, white and clean layout, this is a theme that you will definitely suit your taste.
Take a look at this Google Chrome Wordpress theme. Isn’t it just nice and neat?

How do you prevent spam comments in your blog? In Blogspot.com, it seems like you have to moderate all comments manually. But in WordPress, the Akismet plugin is used to catch spams. If you are hosting your own WordPress blog, Akismet is also one essential plugin to be installed.

Although I have Akismet installed, I still can get a lot of spam comments which will be filed under “Akismet Spam” for further manual moderation. Although you can mark the comment as spam to let Akismet learns to identify more spams, it is still quite tiring if you have to moderate all spam comments that looks like this: [...more]
